Massage is for Everyone

Massage has been practiced in many cultures for thousands of years.   It began as a natural healing method and accessible to everyone.  In our culture, we have been conditioned to think of massage as a luxury or a guilty pleasure and yet,  in our fast paced lives we may need it more than ever.

We have all experienced stress, whether  physical, mental or emotional.  Even positive events in our lives as well as our unfulfilled needs can add to one's daily stress.   

We may not notice how taxed we are until our energy is nearly depleted.   Who hasn’t been there? 

To recover  we need to take time to balance our energy and combat the effects of stress.  We need to recover physically, mentally and emotionally.  Massage has a unique way of helping us recover from the stresses of life because it affects you in all three ways.

Massage does more than just make you feel relaxed and calm.  

  • On a physical and physiological level massage relieves tension from muscles, improves flexibility and range of motion, improves circulation, temporarily lowers blood pressure, decreases pain, boosts the immune system, reduces fatigue and helps you recover faster from intense activity. 
  • Mentally, it increases mental acuity, clears your mind.  
  • Emotionally, it decreases anxiety and lifts your mood,  making you  feel calm  and with an increased feeling of well being. 

Receiving massage regularly is good for your health and will make you feel fantastic!
